Knox County Appraisals Taking Place

The state of Ohio mandates that property be re-examined and re-appraised by the County every 6 years. This re-appraisal process is currently taking place in Knox County.

Listers, or appraisers, will knock on your door to ask about any changes that have been done to the house in the past six years, however, they do not need to inspect inside. If you are not home when the Lister comes to your home, he/she will leave an information card for you to complete and mail in. The Lister will walk the property to perform the exterior inspection.

Listers will be carrying identification cards to confirm their legitimacy.

The county appraisal of your property's value is not always the same as the property's market value. You can learn the market value of your Knox County home by visiting my website or giving me a call at 740-397-7800.
